Caution: Please read the quick-release service instruction carefully. Improper wheel installation can result in serious injury. Check wheel assembly before riding. Pick up the wheel off the ground and give the top of the tire a sharp downward blow. The wheel should not come off or be loose. This is a quick check and does not guarantee that the quick-release lever has received adequate tightening torque.

I ordered two of these releases to replace the release on the front wheel of our double stroller that had broken so that I could fix my problem, and then have one on hand, so I never had to wait for a new one to come if it would happen again. It fits perfectly and works just like the old one.
It is mild steel and you can adjust the length by simply extending the thread with a die and cutting off the excess. We needed a longer skewer for our co-motion tandem with BOB trailer. A friend of mine installed this on her Ice recumbent so she could pull her BOB trailer. Fits perfectly.
This skewer works perfectly well on my MTB and modern road bike. It installs and performs just like any other skewer. As per the instructions, the BOB specific ends are reversible to accommodate various drop out spacings.
I’m a little bit confused and would like to clarify. This will turn a bob jogger stroller into a bike trailer? No other parts are needed to attach it to your bike?
