Besides going out for a stroll to the park, most moms also go for shopping taking their little one in the stroller. That is why most moms also take a look at the storage space offered by a stroller.
So storage space available in a stroller is an important factor to consider before buying a stroller. Where else will you keep your baby items such as diapers, bottles, extra clothes etc? You need enough storage space so that you don’t have to use your hand to carry the additional luggage. Most products offer a basket for storage underneath the seat.
When it comes to storage space, factors usually considered include the size of the basket, ease-of-access, and whether additional storage is provided, such as a pocket behind the seat, or seat-pockets next to baby etc.
Some strollers now offer an innovative approach for storage – a carry-bag storage option. Not only is the storage removable, it can also be carried like a diaper bag or purse. However, despite its uniqueness, the design didn’t live up to the expectations of users. What users would have rather preferred was a larger storage basket that they could actually use and not a separate diaper bag.
You can also buy additional stroller attachments and accessories to get more storage space in order to keep baby essentials and also the shopped items.
Here are some popular options:
Use carabiners to hang shopping bags
You can use large carabiners/hooks (metal loops with spring-loaded gates) on your stroller’s handlebar on which you can hang multiple shopping bags.
Use Stroller Straps
You get stroller straps that lets you attach a Diaper bag or a small travel Bag to a stroller. Most popular makers of hand bags provide separate stroller straps (usually as accessories).
Use an IKEA bag for more stroller storage
Hang a reusable tote, a diaper bag, or an Ikea bag, from the stroller handle-bar to create more storage space.
