Here’s how to make a handle extender for your stroller using a PVC Pipe.

You will need: PVC pipes (easily available at any hardware store).

  • Tools required: hack saw, tape measure, sharpie, box cutter, 80 grit sandpaper
Materials: PVC pipe, pipe insulation, snap tees, elbows, regular tee, end cap, long radius tees (traps), PVC pipe
  • cement, thin velcro straps

As you can see in the image, there are four different ways in which the handle extender has been craved using the PCV pipes:

  • One is where the Bar handle extender is meant for a stroller with padded handles
  • One is a Mail carrier (single-handed) handle extender for strollers with padded handles
  • Another one is a Bar handle extender for an umbrella stroller with curved handles
  • Another one for an umbrella stroller, but made as a Mail carrier (single-handed) handle extender

Here’s the video that shows how to use a PVC pipe to extend the stroller handles. It shows 4 different ways to make the extender (choose any depending on your stroller)
