Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller: Review
The Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller is an expandable, modular stroller designed to offer maximum versatility. It can be paired with the 2nd Seat Kit to expand the stroller to become a tandem double stroller.
- 26-pound stroller, Adjustable handlebar, UPF 50+ all-weather canopy with a large peekaboo window, multiposition reclining seat, footrest that unzips underneath to make it easy to clean, and a big storage basket below the seat.
- Accessories (like a rain cover, car seat adapter, infant seat insert, parent organizer) cost extra.
Mockingbird allows buyers to customize their baby strollers; they can choose the canopy color, the inside pattern of the canopy, the color of the leather on the handlebar. Generally made-to-order strollers are only available on the more expensive strollers.
You can choose from different accessories such as car seat adapter, rain cover and parent organizer.

The Mockingbird stroller has a 30-day trial period, allowing you to test the various features and its suitability to your lifestyle.
Cheaper Alternative to Uppababy Vista
Many parents who like everything about the Uppababy Vista but can’t afford the nearly $1,000 price tag, opt for the Mockingbird instead due its similarity with the Vista.
Mockingbird looks very much like the Vista and it’s almost one-third of the price. It doesn’t come with a bassinet though, but you can purchase one separately.
The Mockingbird has pretty much the same features including a reversible, reclining seat, large UPF sunshade, and storage basket.
But it is single-seat only, so it doesn’t come with the expandability that the Vista is known for.

Available Accessories
You can choose from a wide range of accessories for the Mockingbird Stroller in order to make your adventures even easier. Their accessory line include: Carseat Adapter, Rain Cover, Bassinet Carriage, Footmuff, Handmuff, Infant Seat Insert, Seat Liner, Parent Organizer, Mosquito Net.
2nd Seat Kit
The 2nd Seat Kit expands your Single-to-Double Mockingbird Stroller to accommodate two kids of all ages (infants, toddlers, and everyone in between).
It’s easy to setup the 2nd seat – just snap on the Kit’s adapters and its ready to go.. Both the top and bottom seats can accommodate children up to 45 lb. This 2nd seat kit is only compatible with the Single-to-Double Stroller model and may not work properly with the Single Stroller model.
Mockingbird Carriage
Having another child? You may need this Carriage from Mockingbird that attaches directly to your Mockingbird Stroller (works with both the Single-to-Double Stroller and Single Stroller).
Dimensions: Approx. 8.7 lbs, 30″ long, 18″ wide, 23″ tall with the canopy extended.
Please note, the Single-to-Double Stroller supports only one Carriage at a time. If you’re planning for twins, you should use two Infant Seat Inserts or two Car Seat Adapters with the 2nd Seat Kit.
Mockingbird Car Seat Adapter
With the Mockingbird car seat adapter, you can attach an infant car seat to the Mockingbird stroller so that you can go from car to stroller and back again without missing a beat (or disrupting naptime).
The Mockingbird car seat adapter is compatible with most commonly used car seats including Baby Jogger, Britax, Chicco, Cybex, Evenflo, Graco, Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, UppaBaby. The adaptor is easy to install onto the stroller; the carseat simply clicks into the carseat adaptor without any efforts and unclips when putting back in the car.
