Lascal Buggy Board Mini: Review
Is it Universal?
The Buggy board Mini is compact in size and fits comparatively smaller strollers (the Maxi size fits the bigger strollers)
It should work with a stroller as long as there is somewhere to wrap the straps around. This board easily attaches to the back of almost any stroller, and allows your child to stand comfortably between the parents arm.
Do you kick the Buggy board while walking?
The board is high enough so that when you are walking your feet will go underneath the board. The board swivels to follow the stroller and it will go up and down over curves.
Those who’re up to 5’10” to 6′ tall should not have any problem while walking with the stroller board attached. Those who’re taller and with very long legs may have to be mindful of the board, although i’m sure you won’t kick it much. It also depends a bit on what stroller you’re using.
So basically, moms should be fine, dads may have to adjust their walking a bit, nothing very drastic though.
What is the Max Weight limit?
The board is only meant to be used by one child at a time, its suitable for kids who’re around 2 years of age and above. The maximum recommended weight capacity of the board is 20 kg(44 lb). Mind you, at 20 kgs, it can make the stroller a bit hard to push around, although the board works fine and glides smoothly.
Good Quality Ride
The Lascal Buggyboard Mini comes with good-quality wheels (not cheap plastic) and offers a good ride, the suspension is also good.
The buggy board attaches easily to the frame of the stroller with a simple connector. The strap wraps around the tubing of the stroller. When you need to fold the stroller, the board detaches simply and you are ready to fold your stroller, with the connectors still attached. When you are ready to use the stroller, simply attach the buggy board again, and you’re ready to go.
When the board is strapped to the stroller, it does eat up some walking space between the stroller and board, so you really cannot take big steps while walking and will occasionally kick the board as well (happens on most boards).
An adjustable lock allows you to move the board either more forward or back, suitable in case you’re in a hurry and want to take big steps.
Lascal Buggy Board Mini vs Lascal Buggy Board Maxi
How does the Buggyboard Maxi differ from the Buggyboard Mini?
As the name suggests, the mini board is a compact model making it more suitable for umbrella-fold type strollers. The BuggyBoard Maxi, on the other hand, has slightly wider dimensions and has bigger wheels.
