When a stroller becomes too back-heavy, it can result in funny (or even dangerous) situations such as tipping it back and sending your child into the air (or simply flipping over backwards when you lift your child out.) This can happen even with just a heavy diaper bag, never mind with really heavy stuff like jars of baby food packed into the cargo area.
The good thing about the chariot is that it has got a very adaptable chassis, it can function as a bike trailer, regular stroller, jogging stroller, and even ski stroller.
I noticed that the two square openings on the chassis were not in use when the stroller had just the regular swivel wheels on front. So why not use it to carry a front cargo tray?
That’s why this guy did!
He modified the front of the trailer to attach a tray which could be used to carry heavier things.
It seems between the kids and the two cargo trays, he could be overloading the Chariot, but then the Chariot stroller is very solidly built.
