3D printed stroller parts and accessories: Its possible to make 3D printed parts for just about anything nowadays. 3D printing can help you make stroller parts and accessories.
Repairing the handle lock of a Bugaboo
Bugaboo is one of the best stroller prams out there, in terms of style and functions. They are priced on the higher side, so repair costs are also usually high.
In this case, the handle lock of the Bugaboo was broken, without which the stroller is of not much use.
The owner spent just around $25 to get the high quality 3D printed part and the Bugaboo was back on the road for $25 (he received quotes as high as $250 for repair, from other places).
The Bugaboo replacement part was 3D printed in stainless steel (using Shapeways). You could use ABS (much cheaper) but stainless steel is sturdier.

3D printed baby stroller mounts
Here you can take a look at a 3D printed accessory for the Joolz Day, which you can easily hang up, a practical solution!
Because of limited storage space, Michael needed to stow away his baby stroller base in the meter cupboard. “If you are a parent, you probably know baby strollers costs as much as 40 raspberry pi’s or a full fledged 3d printing setup. Reason enough to be super careful with this forced purchase. So, just using some brackets won’t do it for me. I need some special designed baby stroller mounts,” says Michael.
Do you not have your own 3D printer? (which we can completely understand!) A location where you can 3D print is: www.3dhubs.com.
