The Uppababy MINU is one of the best lightweight strollers available on the market currently because of its low weight and ease of folding. And, despite its light-weight, surprisingly it can tackle rougher terrains with ease. The seat recline is deep and the storage space under the seat is decent.
- Max Weight limit: 50 pounds
- Age limit: 3 months and up
- Stroller weight: 14.5 pounds
The Minu is a lightweight stroller that weighs under 15 pounds and requires just one hand to fold for storage. It can carry children from 3 months of age all the way up to 50 pounds. It features a mult-recline seat, five-point harness, and comes with a shoulderstrap/carry handle for easy transport.

- What we like: Lightweight, easy to fold and recline, all-terrain, decent sized basket (for an umbrella)
- What we dislike: Slightly heavier than other lightweight strollers.
Minu Review
The Uppababy Minu stroller is a nice compact, lightweight stroller (and is little more robust than competitors like Babyzen Yoyo+). It’s a great option for a compact stroller that still has bigger stroller features like bigger storage and a better sunshade.
The Minu also offers one of the best values when it comes to strollers. It’s about a third of the cost of the Vista, and it has accessories to accommodate a child from birth. Take good care of it and you can use it through the toddler age. It’s also great for travel.
Minu folds incredibly easily (truly with one hand), it’s really lightweight, and substantive enough to handle wobbly, cobblestoned side streets as well as bumpy sidewalks.
Seat: It comes with a spacious seat (holds up to 50 lbs). It is well-padded and the seat is easy to recline, which is quite useful when traveling.
Canopy: The adjustable canopy offers good sun protection (UPF 50+ sunshade) and it also comes with an optional mesh window to keep an eye on your little one.
Ride: The wheels handle multiple terrains well, including gravel. It features all-wheel shock suspension. It was a bit challenging on the tight turns but was manageable.
Storage Space: The stroller offers good sized storage basket to store adult and kid stuff. It also has an easy access storage pocket.
More Features: Full grain leather handlebar. One-action brake. Small footprint for tight spaces. Stands when folded. Convenient carry strap
Talking about the downsides, the Minu V2 is priced slightly on the higher side and it can also be a bit difficult to carry for longer periods because the Minu does not fold into a very compact size. Other than these two things, which actually are not major drawbacks, the Minu is an excellent lightweight stroller.
Does UPPAbaby Minu fit in overhead compartment?
Folded dimensions of MINU are: 11.5″L x 20.5″W x 23″H so it may not be accepted as carry-on. So if you plan to take this stroller on a plane, check your airline regulations.
The UPPAbaby MINU is a lightweight stroller with a portable design that can be conveniently carried using the carry handle and shoulder strap. Overall, the Uppababy Minu Stroller is an excellent lightweight stroller from a trusted brand.
