Here are the most common stroller problems faced by owners.
- Some strollers ship with a lot of parts and accessories, and it can be a challenge to put them all together (to assemble the stroller). You will need to go through the owner’s manual to follow the various instructions and steps.
- While most strollers are now compact, some of them can be bulky. It can be difficult to maneuver (heavier ones, especially double strollers). Heavier strollers are inconvenient to carry around a lot, they also take too much room in the trunk or at home. At home, you can hang your stroller on the wall/door.

- Some compact strollers tend to be a bit bulky when folded with the seat attached. In order to get a truly flat fold, you may need to remove the seat first (easy to do actually) before folding.
- While most strollers are not that difficult to fold, parents nowadays prefer the stroller to have easy one-hand fold feature. Most strollers do not stand on its own (once folded for storage); you will need to lean it against the wall.
- Even though some strollers claim that it can be easily converted from a single to double stroller, it actually requires some work and effort. In most cases, it is not as easy as snapping on an added seat. But once all the basic converter parts are in place, it becomes easy to use as a double stroller (but it is a hassle once more to get it back to single).
- Most parents prefer a stroller with an adjustable handlebar, makes it so much more convenient. On strollers without this features, there are ways to extend the stroller handle.
- The rubber grip on the handle bar wears and doesn’t feel good on the hands.
- Stroller wheels tend to squeak after a period of use, and can be quite irritating.
- Stroller wheels can get stuck in one position making it difficult to maneuver.
- A Stroller wheel can loose its grip over time, in which case it will need to be replaced (or you may checkout this stroller hack).
- A Stroller will need to be cleaned regularly.
- Wears out over time because of which you don’t use it as much as you would have preferred, need replacement parts.
