Best Baby Strollers for Disney World

Best Baby Strollers to bring to Disney World. Having a comfortable stroller for your little one can be the difference between a great Disney World vacation and a not-so-great one. Make sure the stroller you bring along has storage, is easy to maneuver, allows multiple configurations, has large canopy, and allows adding a child tray.

New Stroller Restrictions at Disney

Families with young children, planning a trip to the Disney parks, will now have to comply with new stroller restrictions, under which guests will no longer be able to bring in Stroller wagons and large strollers inside the Disney World and Disneyland theme parks.

Once Inside the Park With Your Stroller

Once inside the park with your stroller, here are a few more things to keep in mind.

  • Strollers are not allowed on escalators in Disneyland, you will need to use elevators or ramps in these cases.
  • Kids are not allowed to ride in the stroller while in the parking lot tram.
  • There’s generally a designated stroller parking area near most major attractions in the parks, where you can park your stroller
  • Cast members may move your stroller (to keep the parking area organized), so don’t fret if you do not find your stroller at the original place, it should be somewhere nearby.

It makes sense to tie something to your stroller so that it is easily identifiable. You can tie a colorful balloon (or you may label your stroller with your name) to your stroller so that you can easily identify it. You could even tuck in a tiny GPS tracker (make it inconspicuous). And don’t forget to lock your stroller.

Cinderella, Millennium Falcon strollers for Kids, at Walt Disney World

Besides visiting Cinderella’s castle and/or the new Star Wars land at Walt Disney World on your next trip, you can take your child’s experience one step further by renting strollers that are modeled after Cinderella’s castle and the Millenium Falcon.

Fantasy Strollers (not affiliated with Disney) are providing these strollers at the popular resort.

Hire Cinderella-style stroller at Disney World for your little princess
Toddlers in strollers are a must at theme parks, but you don’t have to choose your regular old stroller when you’re in the most magical place on Earth. Thanks to these Rental services, your kids can ride in a Cinderella Carriage stroller and feel like a princess for the day.

Disney World is a great place for kids and even adults, and now a rental from Fantasy Strollers makes it even more memorable for kids. The cost of renting one of these strollers ins’t cheap, but then royal treatment doesn’t come for free, and you get a lot more fun for the price.

Bobby Carpenter, an avid Disney fan, wanted to make his four-year-old girl feel like a princess by building her a bigger buggy with lots of flair.

The result?

A blue-and-silver stroller that looks exactly like Cinderella’s iconic carriage, just tinier. And now, kids in your life can also experience what it’s like to ride around in Bobby’s miniature carriages, thanks to his new Florida business, Princess Carriage Rentals.

The Princess Carriage Company is out to make this a very special day for your little one. So, when your stroller is delivered, you’ll be greeted with a red carpet leading to a private car set to take you to the theme park. Considering you really are getting special treatment, it makes the rental price easier to justify.

The stroller has two bench-style seats, a cup holder, and handles that make the carriage easy to push through Disney World.

The story of how this rental service got started is very sweet.

“Once upon a time, there was a little girl who wanted to be a princess. Her father wanted to make something special for his daughter, so he made her a beautiful carriage to ride in around Disney World. The incredible reaction they received inspired them to spread the magic… to you!”

From the blue-cushioned seats to the intricate silver metalwork, no detail is missed, but there’s also practical additions, like drink holders and storage hooks. The carriages are recommended for children between the ages of 3 to 9.

Bobby Carpenter, who lives outside Charlotte, North Carolina, builds princess carriage strollers in his backyard. Each carriage takes at least a month to build and costs thousands of dollars, said his wife, Becky. Carpenter finesses the pieces so they fit just right. He makes his own tools.

“It is painstakingly slow. Every single piece is custom. I wish I had a giant cookie-cutter machine to crank it but unfortunately there’s no there’s no way but piece by piece,” Bobby Carpenter said about building the carriages.

“It’s almost like the next big thing for being a superstar. You walk into Disney, and you feel like a celebrity. Everyone loves the stroller and goes crazy over it. Cast members love it. Everybody just has that desire to have a moment of royalty.”

One family is looking to spread a little magic to your family, and considering this will likely make your kids feel very special, it’s pretty hard to say no to shelling out the nearly $300 it’ll cost to rent one of these, isn’t it? After all, its going to provide kids an experience they won’t soon forget.

Spaceship Stroller at Disney World
Now you can rent a spaceship stroller for your next Walt Disney World trip. The stroller looks like something straight out of ‘Star Wars’. The futuristic stroller is decked out with surrounding hexagonal windows, blinking LED lights, sound effects, and spaceship switches.

The Millennium Falcon-shaped stroller comes equipped with ceiling fans, lights, cup holders, sound effects, two pilot steering wheels and lots of room for storage (even parents can share it with kids and join in the fun). This Spaceship Stroller rents for $100 and is available inside Magic Kingdom as well as at the Hollywood Studios in Orlando.

Florida-based Fantasy Strollers have created this stroller, they are also behind the popular Cinderella Carriage Strollers.

About Fantasy strollers

The company changed its name from Princess Carriage Rentals to Fantasy Strollers, after adding a range of new themed strollers to its offerings.

The company is not affiliated with the Disney brand, so you’ll have to head to their website to reserve a stroller.

According to the rental service’s website, there are only a few strollers available for rent per day, so it’s best to reserve these in advance.

Of course, there are other stroller rental options, as well.

But, the decision is entirely up to you and your family. Go with the most cost effective or make it a moment to remember. If you choose the latter, definitely keep Princess Carriage company in mind!

This fantasy stroller is perfect for your Disney getaway or any other special occasion, if you want it to me memorable for your kids. Create a magical day for the little ones by reserving your kids’ magical ride.
