Best Bugaboo Strollers, Accessories & Parts

Best Bugaboo Strollers for families on the go. Unlike other baby gear makers, Bugaboo focuses only on one product, the stroller, and has an enviable lineup of fully-featured strollers that fits almost any lifestyle. This classic baby brand gets a lot of love from moms around the world, proving that the hype around this brand is also well-founded.

Top Picks (At a Glance)

Dutch pushchair brand Bugaboo is one of the most popular and reputable names on the stroller scene. Bugaboo pushchair’s are known for their eye-catching designs, colourful and interchangeable hood and seat sets. All these, along with its premium pricing has made Bugaboo an aspirational buy for most parents.

The good thing about Bugaboo is that they do not have several lines of prams. With just a few lines of strollers, Bugaboo covers pretty much every parental need.

Beautifully designed strollers that seamlessly work in every facet of our lives, Bugaboo also has some great accessories that further support parents as they get through each day.

Favorite Stroller of Celebrities

In the past, celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller, Simon Cowell have bee spotted pushing their little ones in a Bugaboo pram.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry broke their royal tradition of using the Silver Cross baby carriage for little baby Archie Harrison.

Silver Cross, also known as the “Rolls-Royce of prams” prides itself on its royal connection; in the past few decades, all the royal babies have used a Silver Cross stroller.

But it seems Meghan wanted something sleek, modern and lightweight seems which was more befitting of their style, rather than use the antique-looking stroller, just for tradition’s sake.

The Bugaboo is a favorite with moms and it seems its a favorite of Meghan as well. The Duchess of Sussex opted for a $1,500 stroller, the Bugaboo Fox, over the long-favored royal stroller.

Bugaboo is extremely popular with celebrities. Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow launched the ‘Bugaboom’ when she bought one for her first child, after which Elton John, Madonna, and Zinedine Zidane began parading their little ones in their Bugaboos. The stroller that gave Bugaboo lot of fame was the Bugaboo Frog, which has since transitioned to the Cameleon3. Back in 2001, the Frog was also featured as Miranda’s stroller of choice in Sex And The City. They were featured on the TV drama ‘Sex and the city’ and Kate Middleton evoked sharp criticism when young Prince George was seen in a Bugaboo instead of a ‘British-made baby carriage’.

Then, the Dutch and Swedish royal families joined the Bugaboom, and in 2013, Wills and Kate – who were expected to remain loyal to Royal pram brand Silver Cross – bought a pale blue Bugaboo for Prince George. Last year, Kate’s sister, Pippa, and her husband James Matthews, invested in a top-of-the-range Fox for their baby, Arthur.

About Bugaboo

Bugaboo International is a Dutch design company that makes mobility products. Starting off as one man’s visionary design project, the company has now grown into a global brand that has helped millions of families to get out and explore the world in comfort and style. Their strollers are sold in over 50 countries worldwide.

“I wanted to make a stroller a hip investment, rather than an ugly necessity,” says founder Max Barenbrug of Bugaboo (the name in dutch translates as “cheeky ghost”).

Max says he chose not to consult parents as he felt mummies and babies would have got in the way of the design process. “To be truly creative, you’ve got to take the customer out of it and push to the extremes.” When Max graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven, his buggy won first prize in his year group; his tutors felt the buggy would most likely be a commercial success.

Barenbrug is also unhappy that other brands are now copying Bugaboo designs. “I take it as a compliment because if you look at fashion, all fashion is copied. But, at the same, time I don’t have good feeling towards these people. I think maybe they’re not being that creative.”
